Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Chiedza Pasipanodya moved to Toronto Canada in her teens and attended Rosedale Heights School of the Arts. She is currently studying Fine Arts at OCAD University. She is interested in collage, painting, film and photography as vehicle for conveying her experience as a queer African-Canadian Spiritual woman. By exploring art through the context of her own experiences, she becomes a window to her self. This self is ultimately a mirror of parts of us all, and it in this form that she seeks to reveal how similar our relations are and to affirm our universal connection.
