Devonne Anais is a creative writer from East New York, Brooklyn who is preoccupied with existential questions. She has participated in poetry and fiction workshops with Cave Canem and The Audre Lorde Project / Poets & Writers (Tongues Afire). Currently, she is working on a play about a blind Black lesbian from the Baptist tradition.
